Scouts are the eldest section of Scouting here at the Rhyddings Scout Group. This section is for young people from the ages of 10 1/2 to 14. The Scout section is called a Troop with each Troop made up of several Patrols.
Rhyddings Scout Group runs one Scout Troop which meets on a Tuesday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Being a Scout is all about discovering the world on your own terms and making the most of what you have, wherever and whoever you are. You will get the opportunity to try new things, have adventures and make new friends.
We help our Scouts develop #SkillsForLife. We build confidence, independence and encourage them to explore their beliefs and attitudes.
There is a termly fee for attending section nights. This covers costs like rent, activities, insurance and more.
The above guide contains lots of information about what we do. If you still have questions, contact us and we will do our best to answer your questions.
Scouts wear a uniform consisting of a teal green shirt and a Rhyddings Scout Group scarf.
